This carrier can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle using cool water. Hang to dry. To help preserve the fabric and finish, avoid detergents containing optical brighteners.
6. Which baby-facing positions are supported?
We do not recommend a forward-facing position for babies under 6 months, as they need adequate head, neck, and hip support during early development. For older babies, proper support and safety remain essential. We encourage caregivers to consider their child’s individual readiness and consult with a pediatrician to determine the most suitable carrying position.
7. Is it safe to carry a newborn in a baby carrier?
Yes, newborns can be safely carried in a baby carrier when the carrier is specifically designed to support them. A newborn-appropriate carrier should provide proper head and neck support, as newborns are not yet able to hold their head upright. It should also support an ergonomic position, allowing the baby’s hips to rest naturally with the knees positioned higher than the bottom to support healthy hip development. Always ensure your baby is comfortably supported and properly positioned.
